Our goal for this trip is... Christmas! Houston is great, but we don't get those certain wintery Christmassy things like cold weather and window shopping, thick bundley clothes and snow. So this year, since we don't have any rugrats tying us down yet (and we don't plan on any for a while still!), we decided to get our Christmas fix in NYC.

Night one for us was the Radio City Rockettes and the Christmas Spectacular! What a fun show! There are over 100 costumes worn during the show, and each scene was fantastic. My personal favorites were the toy soldiers and the living nativity. I took some pictures on our camera, so we will definitely post them when we get home to a computer. For now, all you get is a picture of us on the cold windy street. I had to wear my glasses so that I could catch every detail!

Even though Radio City Music Hall was only 4 blocks from our hotel, it was about all we (wifey) could bare of the cold wind. We wanted to get dressed up tonight, so that meant Angela lost her mind and wore only pantyhose on her legs.

But let's be honest, as cute as she looks it was worth it! Tomorrow we plan on getting dressed a lot warmer, and spending the day shopping and exploring. Tomorrow night we plan on seeing all that we can of New York's beautiful Christmas decorations, and Wednesday night we will see The Nutcracker at the New York City Ballet. So far we have had such a great time, and this has already been a wonderful opportunity to detach from our busy lives and focus on our relationship as husband and wife. A year and a half ago we were here, just after I proposed. After a year of engagement and six months of marriage, I am so happy we've gotten to come back and that everything is going so well!
