We're famous!

So remember a few weeks ago (maybe even more like a month ago) when I blogged about how Houston Brides Magazine was interested in featuring me and Tommy in their spring/summer issue of their magazine? Well...IT REALLY IS TRUE!! We made it to page 90 in the issue that should be in stores this week!! At the beginning of the new year, you should be able to pick up your very own copy and say..."I know them!!" Our venue, Briscoe Manor, even blogged about our spread as well as our wonderful photographers at Hazel West Photography!! :)

The blurb reads: "The Story: A courtship that began at the University of Texas at Austin evolved into a romantic engagement in Barcelona, where Tommy popped the question on the first day of their three-week vacay. The Details: The ceremony and reception took place over the July 4th weekend, among Longhorns grazing at Briscoe Manor in Richmond. The Party: Musicians Chris Cullins and Jody Smith got the party started along with DJs Unlimited. A surprise fireworks display concluded the romantic evening, wowing guests and sending the bride and groom off with a bang!"

How blessed do we feel? Not only should we feel blessed, but a big, heart felt thank you to our wonderful parents who helped provide us with the most memorable night of our lives. It truly was a spectacular weekend and couldn't have been possible without the love of our parents...(and other family members & friends too!!)
